Researcher Publishes Open Letter to Culpepper Man

Researcher, Zann Nelson spent 13 years digging into the lynching of an African American man in Culpeper, Va in 1918. Nelson then led an effort to have the General Assembly express "profound regret" for it's lynching history in Virginia.

Virginia Lawmakers Request Toll Freeze for Federal Workers

Del. Karrie Delaney, D-Fairfax, and 14 other members of the Virginia General Assembly sent a letter Friday to state Transportation Secretary Shannon Valentine and the Dulles Greenway requesting toll relief for federal workers commuting without pay during the federal government’s shutdown.
