About Me

My career path and choice has become more than self-expression through words and story-telling. At a very young age, I saw how media portrayed the death of a loved one. As I got older, I began to notice how ethics didn't always apply to all journalist. I want to shed light on how journalism and media can be used to properly inform the public and be used to bring peace to the world. 
I'm a senior at Virginia Commonwealth University majoring in Mass Communications with a concentration in Print and Online Journalism. Finishing my last full semester, I took Capital News Service and Advanced Reporting, which vary in nature. I've learned a lot at my time at VCU, and prior to attending VCU, I took TV production and broadcast at Norfolk State University.
